Do not share your life outside work with people at work. Read this again. Maybe chant it every time you feel like you have to. Keep your business or side hustle outside office chatter. If your employer finds out you are building something on the side, they may wonder if you’re distracted, question your loyalty, or worse, try to fire you. You don’t want that.
